Mandatory Electronic Filing Deadline Approaching
Companies with approaching B1 filing deadlines should be aware that paper submission of B1 forms and certain other forms will no longer be accepted by the CRO from the 1st June 2017.
Electronic filing will be mandatory for the following forms from this date;
- B1 Form – Annual Return (including financial statements and electronic payment);
- B2 Form – Change of registered office;
- B10 Form – Change of director and/or secretary, or in their particulars; and
- B73 Form – Nomination of a new annual return date.
If you are not already e-filing you should familiarise yourself with the process in advance of the June deadline, as submission of a paper B1 on or after the 1st of June will not be accepted irrespective of your Annual Return Date and if companies do not file their B1 on time this could result in late filing penalties and a loss of audit exemption.
