Requirement to disclose PPSNs (or equivalent) with CRO Filings to commence 23 April 2023
S35 of the Companies (Corporate Enforcement Authority) Act, 2021, which commenced on 6 July 2022, requires all directors of Irish companies to provide their PPSN (or an equivalent) with certain CRO filings. The timeline for implementation of S35 was initially indicated to be “towards the end of Q1 2023” with no update/confirmation of timings until this week. The CRO has published an update (PPSN – FAQ) which confirms the requirement to include PPSNs (or equivalent) on certain CRO forms is to commence effective 23 April 2023.
